Scott A. Rosenlund is a shareholder in the firm. His practice is concentrated in all aspects of the representation of condominium, townhome and homeowners associations. He has extensive experience handling both transactional and litigation matters on behalf of community associations and advising community associations regarding a wide range of complex and day-to-day governance issues. He handles or oversees much of the corporate and transactional work the firm performs on behalf of community associations. He earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1997 and received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1994. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association (Real Property Law Committee and Condominium Subcommittee), the Community Associations Institute and the Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations. He is a frequent speaker at community association industry seminars and trade shows and regularly gives presentations for professional property management firms and other industry professionals regarding community association law. He has served as an instructor for accredited continuing legal education courses relating to community association law and has authored numerous articles discussing community association legal issues. He has on several occasions been quoted in publications such as the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun Times on matters relating to community association law.
